Sanjula

Sanjula Tanya Manthe is a Spiritual Teacher and Mentor and is guiding people on their Spiritual path. Whether that is in a workshop or one-to-one, she is leading many areas of work, from Rebirthing and Primal work, to Yoga and Mindfulness practices. She teaches the art of communication, and working with conflict is one of her specialties. It goes without saying that her years of communal living have given her many opportunities to learn different schools of thought, and meditation, from being in Findhorn as a gardener, and taking people to sacred sites, training as a shamanic healer and working in the healing arts for many years where she specialized in chair Shiatsu, deep tissue massage, and energy healing work.

Sanjula loves nature and was a part of the tree planting at Leela 20 years ago. She studied at the Humaniversity and did her advanced therapist training, and also did their residential one-year intensive, which is the backbone of her work. She is presently studying to be a celebrant and, under the name of Osho is an Achariya, which means she is able to perform ceremonies, for birth, death, marriage, and naming. Her other love is silent meditation, which she practices daily, and her own position is that she is here to be a channel of light and bring healing to herself and others. Sanjula has recently taken on the Directorship at Osho Leela.

During the retreat you will:

✔️Learn many practices and different simple tools that can be used on a day-to-day basis anywhere.

✔️ Meet like-minded people.

✔️Experience the magic of Osho Leela; including connection, hugging, nature, sharin and wholesome vegetarian food.

✔️Meet Sanjula who is an incredible lady whose highest values in life are those of love and kindness.

✔️Pause from the busy world and take time to reflect on where you are at in life, where are you going, and what is needed for you to take your next steps.

What are the benefits of coming on a retreat?

When people come together in meditation it creates an environment that supports the desire to meditate more and for longer periods. It can be the perfect tool for changing bad habits. I call it positive reinforcement. So instead of not feeling good, going to watch another TV program eating another piece of cake, smoking more, or whatever addiction we may have, all the tools in the retreat can be used to help change these bad habits and when you practice through repetition you are able to create healthy supportive habits.

Often people desire change but want it to be a massive transformation, from day to night but my way of teaching allows you to learn to embody change through simple practices and simple steps. So that you learn how to mobilise change, instead of waiting for that change to happen you begin to understand what it means to embody change.

We are the vehicle of our own change.

Sanjula shares about the importance of developing a meditation practise

‘The biggest reason I feel we need to do this work is simple, this work cultivates inner peace and a sensitivity to being more, loving, kind, and generous of heart. There is still a lot of love and healing needed in the world and I strongly believe we have a responsibility to start with ourselves and that is what we are called to do.

Meditation gives you a space to know yourself better and to gain understanding of why you respond or react to live in certain ways. Meditation can also develop sensitivities that can support you to know who you truly are and what you are meant to be doing with your life. If there was something I wish my parents taught me or schools would be to meditate and know the value of what this brings.’

‘ Healing happens so any unresolved issues can be brought into the meditation practices so you can let them go and create new space inside yourself. ‘

Sanjula Manthe

Why come on this retreat?

It is important to try different meditation tools so you can learn what works for you. The retreat will provide the grounds that will allow you, not only to try different meditation techniques, but practice them daily, so you can see over a period of time what they can bring to you.

So often people try something once and say that didn’t work but like any art form, like dance or music instrument, meditation is a practice that one can truly get better at.

Sometimes we might already have practices but we need something different to bring change, the retreat will offer to learn new ways.
