Each of the five character types originally identified by Wilhelm Reich tracks back to an aspect of our infancy and early childhood. We didn’t get a specific need met, adopted a “workaround” behaviour, and then simply continued on that track throughout life. So much of our human dysfunction, whether personal, social or global, becomes very clear and easy to address when seen through the lens of Character Structure.
This map will allow you to understand the roots of any negative thinking and behaviour, to identify the survival strategies you have adopted, and to become aware of the way that they have shaped your body and mind.
Becoming aware of where our behaviours come from, and working on them on a somatic level, is the most successful way to make positive change and move ahead in life with more spontaneity and presence.
