Superb food, fresh air, beautiful people, amazing music in wall to wall vivencias and of course, a wild dress-up party night, will make this event the highlight of your summer!

What’s on offer

This festival is your chance to reunite with the greater Biodanza community and explore diverse perspectives and styles from around the world. Here’s a glimpse of the amazing lineup:

  • Miranda van Keulen (Amsterdam, The Netherlands): A pioneering force in Dutch Biodanza, Miranda brings over 20 years of expertise and deep passion for the dance of life.
  • Natasha Kern (Slovenia): A trailblazer in her homeland, Natasha’s transformative energy and profound knowledge will inspire and uplift.
  • Merijn Ousdheuse (The Netherlands): This year it’s double Dutch time, as also from the Netherlands we welcome yet another old friend of mine from back-in-the-day (early 2000’s). It’s not the first time that Merijn is at Leela at the Biodanza Festival. He’s a lovely, warm, beautiful guy.
  • Milarepa (Dorset, UK): A festival favorite known for his incomparable energy and presence, Milarepa returns to light up the dance floor.

More incredible teachers are being added to the roster as we speak, promising an unforgettable celebration!

Your Host

Niraj Skilbeck (host)
Niraj Skilbeck (host)
Niraj leads the Dorset School of Biodanza and is skilled at opening people to many aspects of Tantra such as sensitivity, sensuality, touch, affection and transcendence. Using the medium of Biodanza, a series of dance, movements and exercises that create space for a deep experience within oneself and with others. Each workshop is led as a vivencia, a space in which words are dropped and the deep wisdom of the body is entered.
Niraj has been into Biodanza since 1997, leads the teacher training program, and is also trained in the Osho Humaniversity training. He also has specialisation certificates to teach Biodanza and the Four Elements, Biodanza in Nature, Biodanza and Shamanism, AquaBiodanza, Biodanza for Children, Biodanza and Massage, Contact Education, The Heart of Transformation, the Minotaur Project and the Argonaut Mission. He has been involved in teaching Biodanza in 20+ countries.

Hot summer days and nights, enjoying the time with biodanceros on the beach, on the road and deep vivencias with Rolando Toro Araneda – that was the surrounding when we met with Niraj. It was in Greece, I think in 2005 😉.
The Argonaut’s mission evolved many new great friendships all over the world. And from that playfull space, I invited Niraj to hold some lovely weekend vivencias in Slovenia.

The feeling of lightness, joyfulness and excitement are present in me when I think about arriving to Niraj’s festival in summer 2025. It will be 20 years of our friendship and 20 years of my work with biodanza groups. So you will be in experienced hearts and dive in the oceans of transformative vivencias.
My passion as biodanza teacher is creating the space in our body where love and all the juices of life can flow freely and in aboundance – to heel the person and a community as a whole.

Miranda van Keulen

I know Niraj, the organizer of this festival, for years. Met him in my biodanzaschool in Amsterdam when we were both a student to become a biodanzafacilitator. He was this wild, free guy, dancing like I never saw before! And so he still is. Wild, free and dancing.

Many years ago Niraj asked me to come and teach at his festival and yes, now is the time. A 4 days gathering in ‘an oasis of love in Dorset countryside’.
I am really looking forward to teach inspiring vivencia’s, work together with biodanza colleagues and of course meet and dance with people from all over…

A little more about me: I love the transformational forces of biodanza. Since 2004 I teach weekly classes twice a week around Amsterdam, Holland. And since 2009 I am co-director of the biodanzaschool Amsterdam. Let’s come together! Right now.. this summer of 2025.

After a tumultuous first Biodanza experience on the dancefloor in Zorba, I went on to train in the first cycle of the Dorset School of Biodanza. Since then I have been running a Monday night Biodanza class in Hampshire/Dorset which is now in its 13th year. Alongside this, I’ve been bringing Biodanza to a growing number of care homes in the area, specialising in working with people living with dementia. Perhaps my favourite setting for teaching though is at festivals and the International Festival of Biodanza has to be the pinnacle of that experience. I’m so looking forward to being back in that magical space. It’s always such a heart-full crowd and it always reaffirms my faith in the power of music, dance and human connection to make a positive change in the world.
