About Active Meditations…
Active meditation is a spiritual self-development practise. It’s a journey into the body. Getting to know the signals of your body and learning to feel and be present. It’s a self-discovery by learning to release the tension and to come back to ease and flow.
The ancient techniques used with active meditation are tools to move the stagnant energy and to connect with the higher intelligence of your body. Naturally it eases the tension in your body and activates your life force energy.
Many of the techniques have a body-based, somatic approach and gives you this deeper connection and understanding of your body.
Learn to feel, express, release and regulate tension and stress. Together with Kimaya’s intuitive guidance and Khalis’s explanation, it simply moves you into a deep journey of self-discovery and connection.
Why Active Meditation…
Meditation can give you a sense of calm, peace and balance that can benefit your emotional well-being and your overall health. You also can use it to relax and cope with stress.
At the same time the Western mind is not easily available for meditation, we are generally over stressed with a daily life. To ask someone to immediately sit in silence while an orchestra of thoughts and emotions run around our bodies is a big step.
Before we can enter into sitting in silence we need to create the conditions to meditate. Lessen the dominance of mental activity and get more in touch with our body and breathe.
This weekend is filled with active meditations and tools to calm the body and the mind, before moving towards silence.

Khalis shares about his meditation experience
‘In my experience meditation is not the idealised hours of sitting in blissful nirvana but is the one, two, or three seconds during the day when you stop, take a deep breath, and bring your attention back to the present moment – (When you wash your hands, when you make a cup of coffee, when you’re waiting for the elevator) – instead of indulging in thinking, these are all opportunities for being there as a still, alert presence.’ ~Khalis
Khalis has been sharing his passion for meditation for over 10 years. His way of teaching is inspiring and fun.
What other people experienced…
‘No nonsense facilitators who know how to reach a person and flick switches.’
‘Khalis’s jokes and Kimaya’s calm energy and presence is a recipe for succes!’

Why might this weekend be for you?
It’s the start of a new year which is a good time to bring change. Changing a habit isn’t as easy as it sounds. How many times we started with good faith and then drop back into our old patterns.
Is this you? This weekend might come at the right moment.
The first weeks of the new year always sets the tone for the rest of your year. If you manage to bring focused and inspired action at this time , you have a much greater chance for changing your patterns.
If you feel you could benefit of re-evaluating life and you have the desire for change, but you don’t know how and where to begin.
Or you simply long for some time to re-connect, be yourself and in connection with others.
‘The meditation took me to a place no other meditation has take me to. I associate this to the process we went through the length of daily meditation and variety of techniques used.I am now in a different place to where I was when I arrived and exactly where I hoped to be.
I have clarity, peace and skills to return to peace quickly as soon as a challenge that disrupts the peace present.I’m hopeful this effect of this immersion into meditation workshop willnot dissipate and be forgotten as it feels like it’s been fully integrated and is a part of me now, as you made it so simple and easy to use in everyday life.Thank you both for these peaceful moments for your skills and knowledge and dedication to your sharing of these to support others.’
‘The weekend was awesome and truly inspiring for me. Kimaya and Khalis made it all the more special.
Osho Leela is my new spiritual home.Thank you again for everything.I wish you an abundance of peace, love and happiness.’

When I knew she’s running a weekend workshop together with Khalis. It was a no brainer, I just have to join.
Khalis’s jokes and Kimaya’s calm energy and presence is a recipe for succes. Can’t wait!”
