The ancient techniques used with active meditation are tools to move the stagnant energy and to connect with the higher intelligence of your body. Naturally it eases the tension in your body and activates your life force energy.

Many of the techniques have a body-based, somatic approach and gives you this deeper connection and understanding of your body.

Why Active Meditation…

Meditation can give you a sense of calm, peace and balance that can benefit your emotional well-being and your overall health. You also can use it to relax and cope with stress.

At the same time the Western mind is not easily available for meditation, we are generally over stressed with a daily life. To ask someone to immediately sit in silence while an orchestra of thoughts and emotions run around our bodies is a big step.

Before we can enter into sitting in silence we need to create the conditions to meditate. Lessen the dominance of mental activity and get more in touch with our body and breathe.

This weekend is filled with active meditations and tools to calm the body and the mind, before moving towards silence.

The benefits of active meditation:

✔️ Learn to move your energy with active meditations

✔️ Brings soothing and relaxation to tight muscles

✔️ Improves energy flow and vitality throughout the body

✔️ Improves confidence

✔️ Brings you in connection with your the body

✔️ Harmonises energy centres

✔️ Releases and eases stuck emotions, tension and stress

✔️ Reduces inflammation

✔️Connect with your inner self

✔️Understanding of your nervous system

Khalis
Khalis
In the mid 80’s Khalis left Glasgow depressed and possibly on his way to being an alcoholic. He was looking to find happiness out there in the big wide horizon. Travelling the world, he arrived in California and bumped into the world of Osho and meditation.

‘The answer wasn’t out there, it was in there.’

The ever-evolving discovery of the simple process of sitting and focusing on breathing brought him a sense of wonder, calm and empowerment. He didn’t need alcohol, money or women to feel valued.

Looking inside at all his supposed imperfections and mind f*cks he found a long and winding road towards acceptance.
He has been meditating (also active meditations involving moving his body and using his voice) for over 30 years and he still gets stressed and anxious, BUT through meditation techniques he has the tools that help navigate his life in a healthy way. Meditation is the foundation on which he is built and he likes to share this passion with other people.

Kimaya
Kimaya
Kimaya started her deep transformative journey about 25 years ago. She already was a Reiki practitioner back then, but something was missing. She started a yoga teacher training exploring the energies moving in the physical body and felt called to explore more around emotions. Being a workshop junky moving from one training to the next, she felt more freedom in her body and started to receive a higher guidance.

It was a path of focus and determination and brought her to: Osho Active Meditations, Vippassana, Mystic Rose, Darkness Retreat, Social Meditations, Emotional Body Work, Emotional Freedom Technique, NLP, Who’s In, to name a few.

In 2015, after a 5-day Vision Quest, Kimaya entered a space of deep silence for a few months and, although daily life started to take over again, the stillness never left and is felt in her every day presence.

‘In the presence of silence, the gifts unfold’

Kimaya guides and supports people on the path of self-discovery in a holistic, body-based, and grounded way. Her meditations are profound in many ways.

Khalis shares about his meditation experience

‘In my experience meditation is not the idealised hours of sitting in blissful nirvana but is the one, two, or three seconds during the day when you stop, take a deep breath, and bring your attention back to the present moment – (When you wash your hands, when you make a cup of coffee, when you’re waiting for the elevator) – instead of indulging in thinking, these are all opportunities for being there as a still, alert presence.’ ~Khalis

Khalis has been sharing his passion for meditation for over 10 years. His way of teaching is inspiring and fun.

What other people experienced…

Why might this weekend be for you?

It’s the start of a new year which is a good time to bring change. Changing a habit isn’t as easy as it sounds. How many times we started with good faith and then drop back into our old patterns.

Is this you? This weekend might come at the right moment.

The first weeks of the new year always sets the tone for the rest of your year. If you manage to bring focused and inspired action at this time , you have a much greater chance for changing your patterns.

If you feel you could benefit of re-evaluating life and you have the desire for change, but you don’t know how and where to begin.

Or you simply long for some time to re-connect, be yourself and in connection with others.

Meet other people, meet yourself, meet silence…

‘The meditation took me to a place no other meditation has take me to.  I associate this to the process we went through the length of daily meditation and variety of techniques used.

I am now  in a different place to where I was when I arrived and exactly where I hoped to be.

I have clarity, peace and skills to return to peace quickly as soon as a challenge that disrupts the peace present.
I’m hopeful this effect of this immersion into meditation  workshop willnot dissipate and be forgotten as it feels like it’s been fully integrated and is a part of me now, as you made it so simple and easy to use in everyday life.
Thank you both for these peaceful moments for your skills and knowledge and dedication to your sharing of these  to support others.’
Beverly Strachan, Wales

‘The weekend was awesome and truly inspiring for me. Kimaya and Khalis made it all the more special.

Osho Leela is my new spiritual home.
Thank you again for everything.
I wish you an abundance of peace, love and happiness.’

“I have done lots of various meditations in my life and a couple of times with Kimaya. It seems like meditations led by her take me to another realm.

There’s something more happening, I can’t explain. I get deeper and move into bliss, peace, stillness and gratitude.

When I knew she’s running a weekend workshop together with Khalis. It was a no brainer, I just have to join.

Khalis’s jokes and Kimaya’s calm energy and presence is a recipe for succes. Can’t wait!”

Hanycka, participant Leela Life Training

“Kimaya is an amazing woman who holds space and people in a deep and profound way. She helped me to release a lifetime of pent up emotions and I begin to move in a new life direction. A no nonsense facilitator who knows how to reach deep within a person and flick switches. Thoroughly recommend this facilitator.”
