Speak From Your Heart
Melt the fear of public speaking
Friday 1 November – Sunday 3 November 2024
Speak from the Heart is a workshop for people who have fears and blocks around the craft of public speaking.
Together, we will create a safe space where each individual discovers how to gently melt and unfreeze the fear inside their system.
Rather than trying to get rid of this fear, our approach is one of accepting and integrating it.
Once the melting has begun we start to look at other aspects of public speaking such as clarifying what we have to say, celebrating our inner sparkle and passion, and learning how to remain sincere and authentic throughout the whole process.
The training is rooted in Ailon’s personal journey from extreme shyness and introversion into free and healthy self-expression.
You can expect the workshop to be delivered with Ailon’s trademark style of wit, wisdom and humour.
If this workshop calls you but you want to know more, you are welcome to arrange a discovery call with Ailon to see if it meets your needs. Email: ailon@lotus-exchange.com
There will be a maximum of 10 people so that individual attention can be given.
This workshop is for you if:
You have a deep fear of public speaking and are terrified of making mistakes or being judged when standing up in front of others.
You feel that you lack charisma or confidence when you talk in front of others but secretly know that you could be so much more expressive.
You’re ready to share the uniquely weird and wonderful version of yourself that you can be with your best friends but not in public!
You want to make public speaking more fun, more playful and less terrifying then cancel all your other plans.
The Process…
The workshop is based on a multi-layered, holistic approach, adaptable to the needs of each individual. It will focus on the following elements of public speaking
BODY– Experiential exercises to understand the physiology of our fears of public speaking – (adrenaline, cortisol and what it does to your body.) Followed by relaxation exercises to mitigate this fear.
MIND– Learn to clarify your message. Discover how to distill the central message of any presentation or talk into a simple thread that even a seven year old can understand. This thread will be your inner mantra or guide rope for any speech.
HEART– Find your passion, presence and personality by playfully exploring the skills of showmanship. This is done by looking at the archetypes of the Actor, the Preacher and the Comedian who will teach us how to warm up and even engage our audience.
SOUL– Share your Sincerity. Bring your vulnerability, your authenticity and your pure connection to any audience without bullshit, showmanship or bluff. Learn to be yourself with as little effort as possible through the archetypes of the Guru, the Clown and the Priest
INTEGRATION and PRACTICE– How do we bring all this together? Looking at ‘weaver’ archetypes such as the Storyteller, The Barrister or the Teacher.
REGULAR SHARING CIRCLES– Regular slots where we listen to one another, share our hopes, fears, and dreams and see that we’re not alone on this voyage. These sharings will create the container of safety on this journey.
During this workshop you will:
✔️ Learn how to relax and melt the fear of public speaking through a soft and accepting approach.
✔️ Tap into your innate gifts, talents and skills and learn to be yourself even when others are looking at you.
✔️ Find a pathway for dissolving your fears of criticism, ridicule, failure and rejection by learning to open your heart and blend humour and playfulness with sensitivity and vulnerability.
✔️ Discover that the craft of public speaking is a powerful journey of self-discovery and wholeness that can guide you to become the most relaxed, easy and natural version of yourself.
✔️ See how the practice of speaking your truth will also help you get closer to your own calling and authentic self-expression in the world

“The combination of archetypal work, experiential learning, playfulness and support of a group was beautifully crafted by Ailon. His uniquely structured approach to embodying ourselves is transformational and truly special. Snap up a ticket, I highly recommend the workshop and will be back for more.”
“This training certainly reaches the parts other trainings have not. I am grateful for your facilitation and your earned, lived wisdom. I learned so much about opening my heart and I’m now seeking to communicate from that place as often as I can.”
“Thank you for a glorious day of being able to practice speaking and communicating from the heart. It was such a gift to play, fail, learn and be met in acceptance each step of the way.”
“The course was challenging, safe and completely engaging. It gently took me to places I need to go but resist visiting. Ailon skilfully shared his personal journey, his considerable skills, his deep knowledge and experience in a masterful way that respected our shared humanity and the personal state and experience of each of us. We were shared into his knowledge rather than ‘taught at’. Highly recommended.”
“What a day!! I knew I would be out of my comfort zone since I tend to avoid any public speaking. However, I really appreciate the way Ailon was able to hold a safe space for us to explore our different fears around this topic. I have since done a public speaking event that was very successful, and I did not feel the big dread that would usually terrify me.The humour and the laughs helped as well.”
“As a terrified introvert, I can’t believe I’m saying this – but I would really like to have more opportunities to stand up and show my vulnerability in front of people now.”
“Ailon -thank you for teaching me something very honourable in your role as a teacher- your humility, kindness, curiosity and vulnerability are very touching and insightful.”
“I couldn’t have done my stand-up performance without being at this weekend, so massive thank you to Ailon and the group for your encouragement and for your laughs.”
“Since doing your workshop, the public speaking at work has felt so much easier and actually more fun – even when things haven’t gone so well. I take it much more lightly now- it’s a bit more like a playful game than a life or death situation.”
